IPM is a Christ-centered, Bible-based ministry directed primarily toward prisoners,

their families, and those who minister to them.

IPM was founded by Chaplain Ray Hoekstra in 1972.  Upon his homegoing in 1997, his beloved wife and partner  Leola Hoekstra continued to faithfully direct IPM until 2002, when IPM's board of directors appointed Pastor Bob Hoekstra (Chaplain Ray's son) Director of the ministry.
